About

Meet Colin Rafferty, an Irishman with a deep love of authentic Southern BBQ. After years of honing his slow cooking skills at many
a backyard BBQ he decided it was time to take his show on the road and so the hunt began for the ideal offset smoker/trailer combo.

After much searching, and not much luck, he finally struck gold when he stumbled across the Smokin’ Gun. Designed and built from the ground up by a Texan Engineer, it was so perfect he nearly dropped his beer! There was only one draw back...it was based in Queensland.

But it’d take more than 4,167.8 km to stop this cowboy’s in his tracks and so he got it on a truck, off down the east coast of Australia, across the Nullarbor Plain to it’s new home, here in Perth.

Food

We make a wide range of delicious Southern BBQ favourites, inspired by classic dishes from Tennessee to Texas. Our produce is sourced locally and all our rubs and sauces are made from scratch by Colin - his own unique twist on the old deep south classics.
